Recently, in the Nansi Ba Industrial Zone of Santai County, the construction of the Mianyang Yihe Junmei Textile Co., Ltd. project, with a total investment of 160 million yuan, is nearing completion. Workers are installing and debugging equipment in preparation for trial production.
　　
　　Mianyang Yihe Junmei Textile Co., Ltd. adheres to a differentiated positioning, using advanced production processes and management systems to transform traditional textile factories into modernized, intelligent, digital, automated, lean, and humanized textile factories.
　　
　　The first phase of the project includes 96 jet looms, which will achieve a monthly production of 1.5 million meters of grey fabric.

　　The company's products mainly focus on high-end workwear military fabrics. After the completion of the first phase project, the annual output will reach 16 million meters, directly supplying Jialian (Jiaxi), with our raw materials accounting for about 10% of Jialian (Jiaxi)'s product supply chain.
　　
　　Similarly, Jialian Printing and Dyeing, established in 2004, has gradually become a leading enterprise in the Sichuan and Chongqing regions through continuous technological upgrades and capacity expansion, with a product positioning focused on workwear and camouflage, accounting for about 10% of the national production capacity.
　　
　　The construction of the Sichuan Province Functional Workwear (Uniform) Base not only extends and completes the textile and footwear industry chain in Santai County but also builds a platform to accelerate the intelligent and automated transformation of the textile and footwear industry and attract a number of highly relevant and concentrated leading projects.

　　The construction of the Sichuan Province Functional Workwear (Uniform) Base further promotes the transformation and upgrading of the textile and footwear industry in Santai, enhances the competitiveness and influence of workwear (uniform) in domestic and international markets, and strongly advances the high-quality development of the textile and footwear industry, gradually forming a relatively complete industry chain that includes spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, design, production, and garment sales, driving the continuous development and growth of the textile and footwear industry in the county.

　　Currently, the production raw materials are mainly transported from our coastal areas to Santai through logistics. There are significant drawbacks in terms of time, cost, and quality feedback.
　　
　　I believe that after the completion of the workwear base, more supporting enterprises in the footwear and textile industry will settle in Santai, further completing and strengthening the chain of the footwear and textile industry, significantly reducing production costs for enterprises while qualitatively improving production efficiency and product quality.
　　
　　In recent years, Santai County has deployed innovation chains around the industry chain, encouraging enterprises to carry out technological innovation and capacity expansion, accelerating the improvement of process levels and product capabilities. It has guided leading enterprises such as Jialian Printing and Dyeing and Hongxing Erke to invest more than 80 million yuan, collaborating with research institutions such as Xi'an University of Technology and Sichuan Textile Research Institute to jointly build enterprise technology centers, engineering technology research centers, and other research platforms, and jointly carry out product innovation public relations, significantly improving the technological content and quality benefits of products.
　　
　　At the same time, following the principle of "supply and demand correspondence, nearby employment," Santai vigorously promotes the "enterprises going to the countryside, employment at the doorstep" model, using the revitalization of idle assets in towns and villages as a starting point to support footwear manufacturing enterprises such as Hanbinlin, Anjina, and Jinxintai to expand their scale, establishing 5 branch factories (workshops) in towns, cumulatively driving over 800 people to achieve "doorstep" employment, with an average income increase of over 12,000 yuan per employed person.
　　
　　According to statistics, as of now, Santai County has 16 textile and footwear enterprises above a certain scale. After being recognized as one of the first "Sichuan Province '5+1' Key Characteristic Parks," the textile and footwear industry park has also successfully been recognized as one of the first characteristic (specialized) parks in Mianyang.
　　
　　From January to October 2022, Santai achieved a total industrial output value of 5.07 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.03%, and cumulatively absorbed more than 13,000 employees.
